Rule 1: Do not edit the dolls I have drawn and claim them as your own or enter them in contests or edit them and publish them as your own.
Rule 2: Do not reproduce my bases, edited as base or not and publish them on your site as your own.
Rule 3: Do not copy the code of my website, pages, layout, etc.
Rule 4: Do not make websets, signatures, avatars etc. from my dolls without my permission. I just would like to know who uses them.
If you have any more specific questions concerning my site or its content, please read the following F.A.Q. before contacting me.
1: Can I adopt your dolls?
Yes, no problem. Unless stated that it's not adoptable. Please provide a text link back to my website (http://dollheart.tokyobar.org), or take one of my banners.
2: Can I use the dolls you make in websites or signatures?
Well... depends in the first place if they're adoptable or not. Second, if you use them for signatures or webites, do not edit the doll. Do not recolour them or change anything about the doll. You can add animation, a background or text... but I would like the doll to stay the way I intended it to be. And a link back to my site (http://heartbox.tokyobar.org) goes without saying, of course. Please let me know and ask for permission if you use my dollz for your own projects. If this is in any way unclear, please contact me.
3: How do you make your dolls?
I draw them in Photoshop. But you can basically use any graphic program you like.
4: Can I draw dolls on your bases?
Yes, that's why I put them on my site, so other doll creators can use them if they like. Please provide credit in the form of a link back to my site (http://dollheart.tokyobar.org).
5: Can I make a dollmaker out of one of your bases?
I'm sorry, but no.
6: Can I edit your bases when I want to make dolls with them?
Sure, you may recolour them, change the face, change the position slightly if that suits your needs better. But do not publish these edited bases as your own. I do require a link back for credit... see the answer at question number 5.
7: Can you make me a website?
Well, I could... but, I don't want to. It's not my job to create websites for other people. I have other stuff going on, such as my jewelry.
8: Can you teach me how to make a website then?
Sorry, but no. I get these requests a lot. I just don't have the time to be a webdesign tutor. Learning to create a website takes time, effort and practice. I started out at Geocities in 1997, I didn't know anyone who designed websites, I had to do it all on my own with the help of some HTML reference sites. Nowadays there are so many great and helpful tutorials around, I'm sure you'll learn it much faster than I have.
